The young Vicky is struggling for money. Her mother has just died and she has to pay for her funeral. It all seems very hopeless, until she meets Vasco.
Zornitsa Dimitrova (originally from Bulgaria) developed her love for filmmaking during her media studies in Germany. After a couple of years learning by doing and studying advertising directing at the Filmacademy Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg, Zornitsa is now based in Berlin and aims to work internationally. She loves beautifully shot storytelling with strong points. Her writing and directing style is mindful and precise, and she enjoys telling stories about strong characters – especially women, which sometimes includes showing a metaphorical middle finger to the patriarchy.
