Young Fathers released an exclusive three track live video filmed in partnership with Amnesty International to raise awareness for Refugee Week. The session, directed by Tom Hingston, features performances of the tracks ‘I Saw’, ‘Rice’, and ‘Geronimo’ and perfectly captures the trio’s electrifying energy they pour into every live show. The full video was made available to view on Bandcamp to coincide with Refugee Week (19-25th June 2023) an annual arts and culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. Fans were able to watch the frenetic rendition of ‘Rice’ individually as a preview of the intimate performance, with the full session available to watch on Bandcamp when donating to Amnesty International.
Tom Hingston is an established creative director based in London. Renowned for his innovative approach, Hingston's work spans moving image, digital and experiential. Hingston’s work in moving image also includes three promos for the late David Bowie. The studio’s portfolio spans a broad spectrum of sectors, from fashion and beauty to automotive, architecture, and technology. As a creative director Tom has worked with extensively with global luxury houses, lifestyle brands and cultural institutions including Dior, Lancôme, McQueen, Rolls-Royce, Veuve Clicquot and the Serpentine Galleries.
