In this intimate and lyrical portrait about fine artist Anietié, he exposes his soul while carrying us through the emotional struggles a person of color must ascend when fighting to find their own free consciousness. "ANIETIÉ, and the Sky will be there" is a result of an artistic collaboration between Berlin based German/Iranian filmmaker Teymour Tehrani and British artist Anietié, author of the poem, and also playing the lead role.
Teymour Tehrani is both educated in film directing and producing. He was educated at the MA program of the Northern Film School (Leeds, UK), as well as the Filmakedmie Baden-Wuerttemberg (Ludwigsburg, GER), where he was also awarded the prestigious Hollywood Workshop Scholarship at UCLA (USA). Teymour worked for some of the biggest brands in Germany such as Mercedes Benz and extended his production portfolio as the Head of Digital Content at Fox Devil Films (exclusive German Rattling Stick Partner) and was involved in productions such as P&G „Thank you Mom“ campaign directed by Jeff Nichols for the Rio Olympics. Teymour founded his own boutique production house AT-Vertise GmbH in Berlin because he already saw the changes the market would undergo due to the digital transformation. Teymour’s company soon became a home for up-and coming director’s with an edge. He was one of the main initiators of the 1st ever Berlin Commercial Festival, where he was also involved as a judge and panel speaker because he believed that a new Generation of storytellers needed common ground to meet and celebrate within the German creative capital. As a cancer surviver Teymour has reduced his business activity and is currently just active as a passionate creative, where his artistic focus lies in the uncharted territory between commercial and cultural content.
