SO ME

ICONOCLAST

Everyone has been in the presence of kids who had ingurgitated too many candies. The level of craziness that may ensue, the 'sugar rush', can really turn these cuties into unhinged devils. We had fun following this sugar addict tormenting his fellow Londoners on the way to the next candy shop. We were lucky to find the perfect actor for this, he was such a joy to work with and he had so much fun, I think you can see it. It’s also important to note that the dance moves are all his !

So Me -his real name is Bertrand Lagros de Langeron-, is a French graphic designer for the Ed Banger Records label and the Japanese brand Revolver. A true all-rounder, he has excelled in many fields, from music to fashion, graphic design and animation, film and advertising. He has directed videos for DJ Mehdi, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Justice, and MGMT, culminating in his winning the 2005 European MTV Award for Justice vs. Simian's "We Are Your Friends" video. After proving his success with award-winning music videos, So Me turned to advertising, directing commercials for global brands such as Stella Artois, Apple, Nike Air Jordan, Heineken, Adidas and Lacoste. For Nike Air Jordan's "Take Flight" campaign, So Me created spots combining classical and Motown music with graceful action shots, illustrating So Me's musical and visual skills.
