Renee Maria Osubu is a Nigerian-British photographer and director born and raised in the diversity of London. She is best known for her photography series Dear Philadelphia, which is now a film available to watch on BFI Player. Dear Philadelphia also had its international premier at Sundance Film Festival 2021. The main themes in her work are adolescence, community and representation. Renee is a Davis Peace Project Award winner, BJP Portrait of Britain 2019 winner, a recipient of the Michael Wilson Award and her work is permanently held as part of the University of the Arts London Collection.
