Nathan is a self-taught filmmaker whose work spans original brand films, commercials, and documentaries. Having grown up in Hackney, he had an innate hunger to tell stories and aims to give an honest and fearless voice to his subjects. He started out making films about some of the characters he met at The Ace Hotel in Shoreditch whilst working there fresh out of school. Inspired by local arts and culture, Nathan’s immersive work aims to capture the personalities and untold stories of his subjects through projects rooted in different music scenes. He has shot J Hus, Drake, Stormzy, DJ Cipha Sounds and DJ Kenny Allstar to name a few artists and his acclaimed work creating the LDN, Ciph and Northside documentaries show his artistic language is elevated through human intimacy and authenticity. His work has been featured in The Fader, Highsnobiety, XXL, Mixmag and Crack Magazine. Biscuit produced Nathan’s debut short film ‘Five From Thirty’ which has just been selected for the London Short Film Festival 2022 and he is also finishing up a feature-length documentary on the British rapper J Hus.
