MrMr are a directing duo made up of Katie Lambert and Martha McGuirk. MrMr like making films about women having big feelings and making stupid decisions, because art often imitates life. They believe in character driven comedy, queer intentions, and doing an escape room in every city they visit. Having started out as producers, MrMr’s extensive portfolio includes music videos for the likes of Pink, The Weeknd, Harry Styles and Prince but to name a few, alongside Super Bowl commercials and that one time in Prague with Usher. As writers and directors, they have two short films which are currently making the festival circuits; ‘Eat It’ – a film about the things we eat when we’re broken-hearted; and ‘Autofiction’, made with the band Suede. Collaborators also include Wet Leg, Self Esteem and Georgia.
