Matilda is an accomplished director, artist and photographer with incredible command of her craft. She is a filmmaker renowned for her striking, visceral and captivating worlds combining powerful emotional dimensions with undeniably strong imagery. Matilda applies different techniques to make her ideas work, so every project is unique with her signature cinematic and provocative style. Her recent film “Hope United” for BT won Silver at the British Arrows 2022 and a Graphite Pencil at D&AD. She was nominated for Best Director at the UK Music Video Awards in 2019, after winning Best New Director in 2017 and 2018 and Shots New Director of the Year 2019; her work has also garnered Gold at Ciclope 2020 and Gold at Kinsale Sharks 2019. Beyond commercials, Matilda has worked with dozens of artists such as The Weeknd, Jay Rock, Obongjayar, Danny Brown, Apparat, Bicep, Brodinski, Bob Moses, Rosie Lowe and Bipolar Sunshine to name a few, garnering huge success in awards and recognition over the years.
