Kyle Sawyer is a Canadian documentary film and commercial director. With his production company Digital Sabbath he created and directed 17 episodes of the Business Unusual series which premiered in 2023 on Air Canada. His short films Mann and 4/4 screened at festivals around the world. Mann went on to find distribution with Amazon Prime and SofyTV. In the commercial world, he's directed branded films for Canada Post, Home Hardware, Def Jam Records, ParaMed and more. Kyle founded the Open Gate Filmmaker Lab in 2022 sponsored by Christie Digital which brings filmmaking into high schools to inspire students.
