The story in the video is about the players and their fearless mindset on and off pitch, and what it means for them personally. We needed to establish a narrative flow, a way to transition from one player to the next and weave their individual stories together. The tone had to be serious, but not overly so. Moments of levity were certainly welcome. Puma is a joyous brand and this needed to come through in the visuals and dialogue. The video was not to be perceived like a manifesto but like an authentic story. It needed to make a personal connection with the viewer and it needed to be authentic to the personalities featuring in it.
