Created over the worlds longest lockdown in Melbourne, Australia, Purple is a visual and sonic portrait of this shared, yet ultimately isolating experience. The film is unconventional in its production, and was created fluidly over 18 months. The shooting, sound design, music and editing were all workshopped in tandem, each element informing the other, resulting in a wholly collaborative piece.
