Joanna Perez Nordahl is a Swedish/Brazilian award-winning film director and artist. Her passion is to tell intimate, empowering stories with emotional force. Her music videos, short films, documentaries and commercials, as well as concert visuals and live performances for the stage, have garnered her international recognition both as a director and visual artist. In May 2019 "Dear Condom" a short film and online campaign that Nordahl wrote, directed and creative directed for RFSU, the Swedish Association for Sexual Health, took home the biggest and most highly respected advertising award in Sweden, The Golden Egg. The campaign also received four major prizes, including Best Marketing To Youth, at the prestigious Sabre Awards in Washington, as well as a Global Top 12 spot out of 5000 entries. Since 2016 Nordahl has been shortlisted for three Swedish Grammys for music video of the year, as well as won one for her collaboration with dreamy pop act Say Lou Lou. Most recently her euphoric take on a night out in Four Tet's Teenage Birdsong landed her a UKMVA nomination for best alternative video. Most recently Joanna released a new film for the Pink Ribbon that is currently getting overwhelming international acclaim.
