Toronto native Jeff Low found his way to commercials rather by chance. While working at a computer shop, a friendly customer persuaded Jeff to quit that job and start working for him the very next day as a production assistant – and the rest was history. Over the years, he worked his way all the way up to Executive Producer before his curiosity led him to the director’s chair. Now an award-winning director in his own right, Jeff’s talent has been recognized by Communication Arts, The One Show, Cannes Lions, the London International Awards, and many others. Highlights include his smart multi-year campaigns “Control” for Tena Men and “Please Not Them” for the UK Lotto, which have earned him top directing accolades from Shots and Campaign as well as numerous industry awards; adorable Super Bowl 50 commercial “Wiener Stampede” for Heinz, which was one of the most well-received spots of the Big Game; the surreal “It’s Kwiffed” campaign for Kwiff, which became an instant hit in both the U.K and U.S.; and the lovingly eccentric spot “The Crystal Barn” for Barclaycard, featuring real-life English crystal merchants. His latest work includes the unabashedly epic “Idiots Are Amazing” for Fanta, and the multi-award-winning stop motion spot “We Make Gin Not Compromises” for Sipsmith. More than anything, Jeff’s work is informed by impeccable comedic timing, and he excels at bringing scripts to life through a signature offbeat humor. He approaches each project with tactical precision, and is also known to collaborate as a writer with agency creative teams on occasion.
