Jazmin Garcia is an American director. The proud daughter of Mexican and Guatemalan immigrants, she finds and showcases characters who have traditionally been ignored in America. And with a magical realist impulse, she tells colourful stories about hope, home, and perseverance. Her recent commercial work includes ‘Brown Love’ for Netflix, ‘Dalia Hurtado’ for Nike, and portions of ‘We Will Hug Again’ for Zalando, which recently won a Brown Pencil at D&AD. Jazmin is currently based between Los Angeles and Mexico City. She also has a show on NTS Radio, where she plays romantic, mid-century music from Latin America.
