A Filmmaker interested in the quiet, the mesmerising that surrounds us. Growing up in suburbs of Prague, Jaroslav has always been fascinated by fringes dividing real and abstract, giving his work a distinctive look. Whether it’s his subversive humour or a delicate sense for building atmosphere, Jara builds a self contained universe for each new project. Once graduated from a photography course, Jara moved to London and then Berlin cutting his teeth shooting music videos and commercial work. Now based back in Prague, Jara spends his free time promoting ambient events called Dietl Archive, DJing and designing light installations.
