The process of writing this film has been grounding and emotional, unearthing previous experiences of my youth which has now shaped who I am. I hope many audiences who watch this film reflect on their own inner narrative and not be swayed by how society sees people. I want to give a special shoutout to producer Nancy Ryan at RSA / Black Dog Films, who took the time to read the script / deck and say yes. All anyone wants is to be seen and heard. She saw potential in this film and the vision, I thank you deeply from my heart.
