The film is a personal account of my dear friend Daniel, his wife Kateryna, and their journey out of their home town Kyiv, Ukraine, on the 24th of February 2022.

James Murray is a director originally from New Zealand, now residing in London. Having come up in the industry assisting and 2nd unit directing established commercial directors such as Steve Rogers and Dan DiFelice, James is now beginning to direct himself. ШЛЯХ (The Way) sees James’ introduction to the short form world as he draws on his knowledge from previous projects with other directors. Recently, he‘s also directed music videos for Django Django and Wunderhorse.
