Isaac Lock is a British director and writer. His work fuses luxury, satire and documentary, following the misadventures of the creative industry’s most outrageous characters. Isaac started out as an Editor at Love Magazine and Fantastic Man, as well as a contributing writer for Dazed & Confused, i-D, the Observer, the New York Times and British Vogue. He came to prominence with a series of satirical shorts, including 'Victoria Beckham: A Decade of Elegance', a mockumentary short for British Vogue. As well as films ‘Everybody’s Type’, ‘Black’ and ‘Unravelled’ for Dazed, which he also wrote and starred in. In 2019, he released his first feature-length documentary, ‘You Will Be With Us In Paradise', chronicling an unlikely couple’s attempts to revive the Italian fashion brand Fiorucci. Recently, he directed two witty films starring Dua Lipa: a dance tutorial for British Vogue, and a tennis tutorial for Evian, which also featured Emma Raducanu. As well as a rousing fashion film for Nanushka, following a troupe of joyful dancers in an audition. He has also directed commercials for Mercedes Benz, Tods, Woolmark and Victoria Beckham Eyewear. Isaac is currently based in London.
