This project was made to create a deeper connection to the neighborhood we work in. I met Wellington Chen while he was photographing around Canal Street - we struck up a conversation in a cafe afterwards. We spoke about the depth of his commitment to the people, businesses and culture within Chinatown – the project unfolded organically after that. Our production company, Grand Crew, partnered with Sunday Afternoon to create an AR component of the film and images, and are continuing to work with Wellington on bringing eyes and ears to the project and neighborhood.

Geoff Sean Levy is a Cuban-American Director from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to pursuing commercial and editorial work, Geoff worked as an art director for advertising giant, Ogilvy, where he collected awards for Cannes Lions, One Show, and Clio Awards. In 2018 & 2019 Geoff was a finalist for ADC Young Guns, an honorary award for top communications artists under 30. Geoff has made films in Spanish, Portuguese, and French. His client list includes Google, Adidas, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Ikea and his work has been featured in publications such as Paper Magazine, Elle, Fast Co, and The Atlantic. He is based in Brooklyn, New York.
