Frankie Spence is a London based photographer and filmmaker who originates from South London. She is drawn to stories that are an observation of ordinary people. Her debut film 'Mother is the Name of God in the Eyes of a Child is a short film that explores the fragility of a teen mum’s relationship with her daughter and nods to the complexities that exist within that relationship. The 3 minute film aims to explore the power in the relationship and allow single parents and those raised by single parents to find some personal relatability in a very universal experience, that a lot of the time feels very lonely.
