Shot on 16mm in the mountains of Provence and beaches of Marseille. This is the story of the birth of an engagement ring; inspired by her fire and a tribute to the sun. The theme of love as cyclical is something that is subtly explored throughout the film: both in its loop structure, but also in a lot of the circular shapes depicted within the visuals. This is something that is even explored all the way down to the cyclical looping of the music. Directed and scripted by Emmanuelle Soffé.
