During the pandemic many of us have found ourselves working harder and longer than before. And as a director in the advertising industry I know what it’s like to work all hours to meet a deadline. The creatives and I really wanted the message to ring true; to be brutally honest. We set out to create an engaging and thoughtful film that many of us in the advertising industry can relate to. An original and hilarious song that sticks with you and carries you through the piece. Nabs hopes that it starts a much needed conversation that encourages the industry to come together and tackle these challenges head on.
Edward Andrews is a British director signed with Skin And Bones in Canada, and Grand Bazar in France. In 2021 Edward won Gold for Shots The Americas - ‘New Director of the Year’, and in 2020 he was shortlisted for 'Best New Director' at the AICPs. His background is in VFX compositing at DNEG having worked on films such as Blade Runner 2049, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Captain America, Wonder Woman, and the Harry Potter films.
