Duncan Loudon is a British film director. His distinctive style – a thrilling mash up of camera manipulation and multimedia experimentation – has inspired a whole cohort of young British directors. His videos are frenetic, surreal, and peculiarly moving. In 2018, Duncan broke out with music videos for ‘10 More Rounds' and 'Wild Yout' by Flohio, taking home Best Urban Newcomer at the UKMVAs. In 2019 Duncan won Best New Director at the UKMVAs and Best New Alternative Video for ‘Never Change’ by Obongjayar. The video was also included in Raindance Festival’s Official Selection and won a D&AD Wood Pencil. The following year, Duncan directed films for Burberry and MCQ, as well as the music video ‘Psycho’ for Slowthai and Denzel Curry. And he’s since directed videos for ‘Your Love’ by Tourist, ‘Signal From the Noise’ by BadBadNotGood and ‘Hit By A Train’ by Jeshi. His debut narrative short, ‘Sweat’, starring British icon Julia Davis, premiered to much acclaim this year.
