This was a really creative collaboration in preproduction. The agency and I threw a lot of ideas around. I decided it could be fun to have an “ad inside and ad” with the integration of this Red Opera Themed room that Eric accidentally comes across. I think that ended up creating a really nice build to the end of the film. It was a great process working with Eric who was super keen to do numerous takes and get the right performance. We used a stunt double and co-ordinator for a lot of the wall breaks and jumping out the window. This became a challenge which meant building breakaway walls on the 5 story of an office and building replica library desks that could sit in front of the real one for Eric to smash the computer on. It was a really fun shoot and one I’ll remember for a while.
