Clayton Vomero is a filmmaker with a documentary approach and an interest in youth culture. His work finds magic in the routine of daily life, characterised by urban wonderlust and a delicate, humanist approach to friendship. In 2016, his hedonistic short film ‘GANG’ landed Clayton in the Dazed 100 list as part of the 100 most influential creatives in the world. His follow-up ‘Pia Nosso’ was equally well received, a soul-searching documentary following young DJ Firmeza. Clayton’s commercial work includes 'Be Unique. Be Equal' for Japanese clothing giant Zozo, 'Get Real' for Jockey Sport, and 'Tour Guide' for Facebook, as well as 'How We Do' for Major League Soccer – starring 2 Chainz. In 2019, he released '3OHA', a feature length documentary exploring youth culture in Russia and Ukraine. The film was commissioned by M2M and launched at CPH:DOX Copenhagen and at Sheffield Doc/Fest. In the same year, Clayton directed ‘The Making of ‘Everything I Wanted’ featuring Billie Eilish for BEATS, and part of the video for Telfar’s SS20 collection, ‘The World Isn’t Everything’. Clayton splits his time between London and New York.
