She often uses her background in documentary filmmaking as an approach to the narrative fiction, making the film based on studies, stories and research in the real world. Christina Amundsen won silver for “Nature’s Child” at Cannes Young Director Award 2023, and Gold winner at Cannes Young Director Award for the film “Isolation” for Mothers Aid in 2020, and “Togetherness” for Red Cross was nominated in 2021. She was co-owner of the film company KnockKnock and started in the music business working with music videos, music tv-series ( MTV) , and was nominated at Cph Dox Talent Award in 2015 and 2016, and New Narrative Directors at Cph Pix in 2013 and 2014.
