Arundati Thandur is a Sydney-based writer and director. Born into a family of actors, singers and performers, she has always found herself drawn to storytelling. Her work is visually rich, impactful, and often tinged with humour. Whether working with real people or actors, performance is at the centre of her approach. Thandur’s short documentary PURRR was an official selection at Queer Screen’s Mardi Gras Film Festival, and her 2023 branded Series for ModibodI picked up 4 gold medals at the LIA Awards and New Director at Ciclope 2023.
