Alexandre Do was born and raised in Paris, France. After studying Graphic Design he moved to London. After studying at Central Saint Martins experimenting with animation, he shot his graduating film and fully committed to Live Action. His last film was adapted from Joseph Safieddine’s 2010 graphic novel “Le Monstre”. Lo Xu-Ming Tong was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. He studied Fine Arts at Central Saint-Martins College of Art and Design. His last short film King Kong was selected at the 36th Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québécois and won a Golden Remi at the 51st Houston WorldCine fest. Alex and Ming met in London, UK and realised they shared the same Sino-Cambodian heritage, while being born and raised 5000 Km apart. Over the years they both have accumulated short film credits as directors but also as DPs, Editors, Producers, ADs. In 2019, they decided to write a script inspired by the current Cambodian landscape and its complicated relationship with China.
