Shai Caleb Hirschson
Creative Managing Director
MassiveMusic Berlin
It was on a hot summer day in 1992 that Capetonian Shai Caleb discovered his grandad’s drum kit and thus the love for music. In Cape Town, he founded Dreamspace Studios which became one of the top 3 recording studios for commercials and recording artists.
In 2012, after discovering its dirty-but-sexy side, he relocated to Berlin, where he still lives with his family. Here he founded ginger.berlin which eventually became GINGER x MassiveMusic in 2019.
Two of his favourite career highlights? Working together with Eddie Kramer (oh yes, producer of Jimi Hendrix, KISS and Led Zeppelin) on creating brand sound for Beiersdorf and creating the song ‘True Colours’ for Sony Bravia commercial.
Shai is not only an experienced entrepreneur in Brand Marketing, Business Development and Account Management, but has also done a pretty good job at Production and Composition. He seems to be the guy you can call for almost all your problems.
