An entrepreneurial thread runs through the diverse range of experience in Matthew’s production career. Matt’s forward thinking mindset toward storytelling inspired him to help architect and launch a number of iconic hybrid production companies including Fuel, Brand New School and ultimately co-founding Stardust.
Matthew also drove the launch of the live action division Logan and Sons, ushering it from 3 directors to 16, including directors Romain Gavras, Megaforce, and Kim Gehrig. Notable projects overseen include the Gymkhana series, AICP spot of the year nominee Elder Scrolls, and Gavras’ Bacardi launch campaign at Johannes Leonardo.
Continuing his commitment to multi-disciplinary excellence, Matthew launched GoldenLA in 2014, building a roster of directors working in all mediums, driving teams toward innovation and expertise, and focusing on seamless integration of all phases of the creative and production process.
