Margo Mars is the founder of Lief, a female-led creative content studio headquartered in London, with offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Marseille. Lief has been a career-long ambition for Mars, whose body of work across 20+ years has won numerous awards, including D&AD, British Arrows, Tribeca X, as well as the Grand Prix at Cannes Lions. She introduced impressive talents to advertising, with major first pieces of work for global clients all the while adding a playful twist and inventive spirit to consistently create room for creativity in storytelling.
Through unrivalled production know-how and the right connections, Margo is deeply committed to bringing visionary work to life with a fresh perspective. She is a regular speaker on diversity and inclusivity behind the camera in advertising, including a spot on the prestigious red dot of TED. Tribeca Studios, the BFI DocSociety, the Guardian, YouTube, and Lush Film Fund have funded often debut films of directors at Lief whilst she continues her dedication to curating and creating unforgettable premium content with tailored marketing plans with the world’s leading distributors, platforms and brands.
