Building on her start as a product photographer, Frances imparts her understanding of the meticulous and measured lighting required in the photographing of objects and carries this approach into the creative realm.
She specialises in capturing artificially crafted scenes, be they room size or tabletop, as well as interior spaces and objects, always communicating the desired emotion and adding a touch of romance. Her work holds a strong focus on mood and structure using light as an atmospheric tool as well as a physical shape, with a particular fascination in the nostalgia found in the quiet spaces left behind once people have departed.
