“In Hot Water is a stop-motion film shot entirely on a thermal camera. The thermal imaging process was directly tied to the story we aimed to tell. Using heat as our medium reflected the invisible yet devastating impact of rising temperatures on our ocean. The effort to control heat and color in every frame underscored the fragility of marine ecosystems, and informed every aspect of making the film, from it's Production Design, to its Cinematrography and Direction."
