Photographer and director, Will Robson-Scott’s innate cinematic sensibility combined with a wicked sense of humour ensure his commercial, music, editorial and documentary work always stands apart. While the authenticity embedded into his process by a DIY-start in filmmaking appeals immensely to both his subjects and audiences. Of late, Will’s shot two strong spots for Palace for their respective GAP and Barbour campaigns. And a compelling advert for the Victoria & Albert Museum. His notable early work, includes: Palace x Adidas ‘Nature’; ‘The Spirit of DIY’ for Vans; a Nike x Carhartt campaign, and ‘Dopehead’ for Hak Baker, which was praised for its sensitive depiction of drug dependence. An alumnus of London artist platform TOPSAFE, Will honed his craft alongside cult London musicians such as King Krule – before going onto make unflinching documentaries: ‘Chiraq' and ‘God Loves Ugly’. As a photographer, Will has captured SZA, A$AP Rocky, Jon Boyega, Jorja Smith, Little Simz, Pa Salieu and Jonah Hill. His portrait of Steve McQueen was selected for the Taylor Wessing Photographic Prize. Additional accolades include a Cannes Young Director Award, ten Vimeo Staff Picks and a Brooklyn Film Festival nomination.
