Director's Works

Coffee Mate, The World's Biggest Coffee Lover Walid Labri
Walid Labri is a British director based in London. It all started age 14 when he borrowed a camera to make a music video with his friends. And that was it. He cut school and instead spent his adolescence on film sets. Eventually, at 18, he joined the Mark Lebons studio. It was here that he began to get the feel for his ambitions and how they might look and be realised. He left to forge his own path when the time was right. To say Walid has a style is difficult. And he for one would deny that he does. But what can be said is that he has a particular tone. Whereas Walid always aims to create work that is visually, stylistically and technically different, there is a tonal coherence that runs through his work. There is a wit and sensitivity in his storytelling that is rooted in real life. His work has this familiar quality although you never quite know why. It's a clever high wire act, of taking something exceptional and making it open to all. Walid's inimitable tone is much admired. Numerous international clients such as Louis Vuitton, OVO, Stussy, Nike, Aimé Leon Dore and Corteiz are all repeatedly satisfied collaborators with Walid.
