Club Kuru and the label loved our idea, but they doubted if we could make it work. In truth we came very close to giving up, as it was very hard to find an actor who was also a trampolinist. We didn't want to risk using a stunt double for the Priest character. But suddenly we found Tom, an ex-freestyle trampolinist who was now studying acting. Then the film came together quickly. The other crucial element was the monastery. We persuaded the Nuns at St Mary's convent to bless us and let us film in their unique convent, which is normally closed to the public. We didn't want to mess about with set-dressing, and wanted a location with the right atmosphere, where we could film quickly.
