Director's Works

EA Sports, For The Club Rollo Jackson
Filmmaker, creative director and photographer, Rollo Jackson is a prolific documentarian of underground culture. Richly immersed in the synergetic realms of fashion, sport, nightlife and dance – his technically ambitious work is steeped in contemporary culture. Rollo’s absolute riot of an EA Sports FC spot ‘For the Game’, starring stars such as the Bellingham brothers, Zinedine Zidane, Dave, David Beckham and Max Verstaten as well as a vast cast of gamers just landed to widespread praise. His long-standing collaboration with Palace, for whom he’s shot multiple ads, content pieces (Palace x Nike), campaign stills, and music documentary ‘John FM’ (Palace x Evisu) is a top showcase for his multifaceted talents. While his creative direction, photography and film work for Overmono’s hit debut LP ‘Good Lies’ is an ace exemplar of his 360 capabilities. As well as further sports-centric work for the likes of adidas, Supreme, Reebok, Nike and JD Sports – Rollo’s made eye-catching commercials for Apple ‘Step’ and Virgin Media ‘Hyped’. And helmed numerous promos for Warp label artists such as The Streets; James Blake and Hot Chip as well as Stormzy’s seminal ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ film. Earlier in his career, Rollo wrote and directed the cult-hit dance music documentaries ‘Tape Crackers’ and ‘Still Storch’. Both deep dives into London’s deviant and delightful dance music history.
