My work is all about real people. Nothing in this world is more interesting than a person's life, any person. Things get taken for granted, but everyone has a story to tell. Scripted or unscripted, depth and empathy are at the heart of everything I do.
I'm not sure there's any sport more fascinating than boxing, and it only gets more interesting when you add children growing up in that environment. It's the antithesis of the messaging we give to every child, and yet it endures, and for some, can transform their lives for the better, like nothing else can. Not many sports have as many systemic dangers as boxing.
