Shazam: Unleash The Beat Regina Gutiérrez Wilson
Growing up in the vibrant chaos of Mexico City, where every corner hums with energy and unpredictability, my curiosity became my compass. Observing the rhythm of life—its characters, its quirks, its raw authenticity—shaped my passion for storytelling. The reckless dance of drivers on the streets inspired dynamic camera movements, while the city’s eclectic mix of people and visuals fueled my rebellious, high-energy ideas. I like to think of myself as an all-ologist—not just because my brain runs at squirrel-on-caffeine speed, but because I believe stories can be told through any medium, in any form, at any time.
"A group of musicians have to guess the name of a song before their time runs out". Ever been walking when a song stops you in your tracks, playing through distant and foreigns speakers? You love it, but—wait—how will you ever find out what it is? Stop wondering... Shazam’s got your back. I'm working to expand "Unleash The Beat" as a campaign. This is my thesis project for Art Center College of a Design in Los Angeles. Made with a budget of 8k.
