Ramez Silyan is a first generation Syrian-American writer and director born and raised in Los Angeles. After attending UC Berkeley, he’s written and directed a documentary feature, multiple short films, and dozens of music videos that have screened in competition around the world. His latest, the Terrence-Malick-produced “Everybody’s Everything,” a documentary on the life of Lil Peep debuted at SXSW 2019 and was nominated for the audience award. Recently, Silyan was selected to be a part of Starlight Media's Stars Collective Initiative and nominated for Best Music Video at Camerimage for his work on The Neighbourhood’s “Pretty Boy.”

An homage of an homage... "So Bad" was inspired by Tarantino, Grindhouse, Troma, Kieślowski, amongst other things. Shot on 4-perf 35mm Anamorphic over the course of four days around Los Angeles.
