Director's Works
Square, Made to Order Nikki McMorrow
Nikki McMorrow is a director-editor specializing in character-driven narratives that pulse with kinetic energy and vivid artistry. Her career began with a diverse foundation in development, production, direction, and editing for high-profile networks including Bravo, A&E, and MTV. This early experience was followed by a seamless transition into agency work, where she honed her storytelling and visual sensibility. Today, as a commercial director, McMorrow combines these influences to create bold, immersive worlds with a keen eye for detail and a distinctive visual flair. With a meticulous yet intuitive approach, her work is marked by a buoyant, cinematic quality that captures both a strong point of view and a playful authenticity, inviting audiences to connect with her stories on a deeper level.
The "Made to Order" campaign hinges on dynamic camera movement, visual effects, and choreographed transitions, which are woven into the fabric of its playful narratives. These stories—rich with interwoven characters and scenes—unfold through kinetic shots, nuanced performances, layered blocking, and vibrant production design. From casting and cinematography to blocking, production design, and post-production, the campaign offered a unique opportunity to showcase my artistic vision across multiple disciplines. To execute the variety of fluid moves, we utilized the Arri Trinity 2 camera stabilization system. Operated by Ari Robbins (known for Everything Everywhere All at Once and La La Land), the Trinity 2 provided unparalleled motion, speed, and mobility, allowing us to push the boundaries of what's possible in the visual storytelling space.
