ZARA, Taxi Jordan Hall
Jordan Hall is a New York City based writer and director currently residing in the Lower East Side. He fell in love with filmmaking after a knee injury derailed his professional soccer aspirations. After 5 semesters of film school at Emerson College, Jordan moved to NYC where he quickly became an in-demand director, specializing in 16mm film which landed him campaigns for Nike with Lebron James and Travis Scott. He's since travelled the world capturing stories of artists and athletes, evolving from one curiosity to the next in a never ending pursuit to explore the medium of moving images. His distinctive style blends a deep love for narrative with a unique ability to portray the humanity of his subjects, capturing their stories with both elegance and empathy.
Jordan Hall returns to write and direct this year's 'Back to Work' campaign for Zara Man. Captured on 35mm, the film is set in the intimate, eclectic world of a NYC taxi cab over the course of a single day. A taxi driver, navigating the chaotic rhythms of the city, seeks fleeting connections with passengers. Brief yet profound moments that reveal the tough exteriors and tender cores of New Yorkers. The film explores the humanity beneath the city's hustle, offering glimpses of vulnerability amidst the fast pace of urban life.
