Scrutiny James Quinn
James Quinn is a British film director whose work focus on the internal battles that we face.
His shorts have screened at the BAFTA-qualifying British Urban Film Festival, Leeds International Film Festival, and S.O.U.L. Fest, as well as 6x BIFA-qualifying festivals.
'Scrutiny' comes directly from my own experiences of anxiety.
I wanted to articulate the thought process and feeling of anxiety - put it on the screen, expose it, take its power away.
The goal is empathy.
