Jake Erland is a director and cinematographer who started out shooting skate videos and evolved his signature style through a prolific long-term collaboration with London brand Palace. His photographic framing and dynamic vision as a cinematographer naturally evolved into a strong directorial voice that brings his influences – of 80s and 90s cinema and 90s and noughties fashion photography – together in a way that is full of energy, visually innovative and VFX experimental, as well as a mirror to the creative community he is deeply rooted in. Jake has shot multiple videos with influential British music artists like Shygirl, Beabadoobee and Rachel Chinouriri as part of long-term collaborations that are visually defining a new wave of contemporary culture. He has received UKMVA nominations for his Beabdoobee work and his 2024 video for the Rachel Chinouriri track Never Need Me – which featured Florence Pugh as Rachel’s wingwoman – went viral with press in Elle, Wonderland, Grazia, Cosmopolitan, W Magazine and Daily Mail. Jake’s other clients include Samsung, On, Palace, Rapha, Dior, Tommy Jeans, Zara, Salomon, Vans, Louis Vuitton, Dazed and John Paul Gaultier.

Aston Villa follow the former's creative angle with a funny spot featuring Aston's one and only Prince of Darkness, the Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy Osbourne. With a guest appearance from Sabbath's bassist Terence 'Geezer' Butler, as well as Villa players past and present, including Gabby Agbonlahor, Emi Martínez and manager Unai Emery, it's a spot that screams 'Up the Villa'.
