Vogue, A Day in the Life of Saoirse Ronan: Once in a Generation Talent Isaac Lock
Isaac Lock is best known for satirical documentary film projects that showcase his impeccable comic timing and belie his luxury fashion editorial background. His first feature ‘You Will Be With Us In Paradise’ – which chronicled an unlikely couple’s attempts to revive the Italian fashion brand Fiorucci – exemplifies this with aplomb. As a commercial director, Isaac’s wit has drawn entertaining performances from major stars in three spots for Vogue, featuring, by turn: Saoirse Ronan, Victoria Beckham and Dua Lipa – and a tennis tutorial for Evian starring Emma Raducanu. While his British Airways advert ‘British People’ was sheer charm. Additionally, he’s helmed spots for Zalando, Mercedes Benz, Tods, Woolmark and Victoria Beckham Eyewear. And crafted a joyful short for Nanushka, which premiered on Nowness. Isaac was previously an Editor at Love Magazine and Fantastic Man and contributing writer for Dazed & Confused, i-D, The Observer, The New York Times and Vogue.
