Safe!, Limbo Imogen Harrison
Imogen Harrison is passionate about creating films that share the intricacies of everyday life. She crafts stories from an observational lens and is always looking for the beauty in the nuances of ordinary moments. She is driven to create sensitive, moving and instinctively human experiences in both her writing and directing. Imogen directs a wide range of genres; shorts, commercials, documentaries. In 2022, Imogen directed Second Unit on season 6 of Peaky Blinders, including scenes with Cillian Murphy & Paul Anderson.
LIMBO - a film for SAFE! (Support for Young People Affected by Crime) This film tells the story of Jessica whom, after reporting a sexual assault by a classmate, is forced to wait months to see her perpetrator tried in court and is at the mercy of the criminal justice system in these delays. In this limbo period, her mental health declines as she misses out on vital stages of her education and her friendships and family relationships are impacted. This film is based on a real story. SAFE! are doing vital work with young victims of crime, supporting them through the limbo and distress we see in Jessicas story.
