Glenn Michael, AKA Kid.Studio, is a director from Toronto. As a Filipino growing up in an electric cultural melting pot, his work constantly explores identity while reflecting the myriad of cultures he grew up around. Initially trained in graphic design, his approach to stylistic storytelling is refreshingly untraditional and poignant. Glenn is a natural world-building phenom. His work continually pushes the boundaries of imagination and craft through his flawless casting choices, creative camera movements, and undercurrents of surrealism. Glenn has directed huge music videos for some of music's hypest artists like Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Drake, and Post Malone. His client list also bolsters big names such as Nike, HBC, Tim Hortons, LG, and Budweiser. Glenn’s films have been recognized and nominated across a number of categories like Best Direction and Video of the Year at award shows like the MTV Video Awards, BET Awards, and the Much Music Video Awards. In 2017, Glenn received a Prism Prize for The Lipsitt Award for Innovation from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, and in 2020, a nomination for Best Electronic Dance Video at the UK Music Video Awards.

Director Glenn Michael delivers a charismatic and playful campaign for fashion brand KOTN, promoting its fall and winter collections through a unique blend of campy humor, high fashion, and surrealism. Set in Cairo, the film highlights KOTN’s ties to Egypt, where its sustainable fabrics are sourced along the Nile Delta. Featuring a dynamic comedic cast—including a mischievous boy and an agile grandmother—the project incorporates spontaneous improvisation and a visually memorable setting-crafting a vibrant, soccer-themed narrative that seamlessly blends cultural authenticity with engaging, light-hearted entertainment.
