Pièces Uniques, Première Fois Edmond Luu
Edmond Luu, originally from Villepinte in Seine-Saint-Denis, is a filmmaker with a rich and diverse background. Initially passionate about image-making, he explored drawing, Photoshop, and music for eight years at the Conservatory. His career took a turn with the creation of Pièces Uniques, a project born from his desire to design original fashion pieces that were hard to find on the market. After studying advertising, Edmond worked at Publicis 133 before becoming the artistic director for Parfums Christian Dior. These experiences enhanced his sense of imagery and perfectionism, while allowing him to develop a distinctive visual style marked by clean silhouettes and monochromatic palettes. His passion for creation continues to inform his work as a filmmaker, where he merges aesthetics with storytelling.
« Première fois » is a cinematic exploration of the formative moments we all experience during our early years. It serves as a heartfelt tribute to love, friendship, and the nostalgia associated with our cherished memories of yesteryears. This film is a celebration of the onirism in ordinary life through the prism of asian culture, it’s ‘an homage to our first romance, our first bestfriend, our first love, our first act of rebellion, our first cigarette, our first adventures.
