ASOS, Inspired By Duncan Loudon
Propulsive and electric – director, photographer, artist and editor, Duncan Loudon’s films and stills, graphic and stage designs sway and hold attention. While ‘Inspired By’, his uplifting new spot for ASOS, foregrounds his emotional acuity as a filmmaker. Duncan’s talent for distinctive, pacy directing also shines through ‘High3r’ – his video for Mike WiLL featuring Lil Yachty and Lil Wayne – as well as his commercials for adidas x Humanrace, On Running, and a campaign film for Patta x 8SZN (SS24). A valued collaborator of progressive musical talents such as Obongjyar and Mount Kimbie – Duncan has won multiple UKMVA’s among other accolades for his compelling promos such as ‘Bullet from a Gun’ for Skepta. Sensational short film SWEAT is a stellar example of Duncan’s combined cinematic, artistic and technical strengths. Starring Julia Davis, the adrenalised and thoughtful piece communicates an enlightened take on life and death in today’s London. As a photographer, his portfolio features a swathe of evocative portrait projects for the likes of The Face x Burberry (Pa Salieu), Dazed’s New Labour Series, CRACK’s Vegyn cover shoot and The Weeknd as well as campaign stills for McQ and Puma (Skepta).
