Mudpuppy Cole Borgstadt
Cole Borgstadt is a director based in LA & NY working primarily in fashion and commercial space. He is deeply influenced by his upbringing in the Ozark Mountains and hopes to continue exploring memory, masculinity, and spirituality through future projects, narrative and non-narrative alike.
Mudpuppy is a reflection on loss and nature’s quiet observance in a small nook of the Ozarks. This film was shot in 2023 during an Arkansas summer with a skeleton crew focused on not rushing the process. Sometimes only focusing on a couple shots in a day if that's what felt right.
